Made for TV movie about a single mom returning to her hometown in rural Maine after having left her husband several years earlier. Dee Dee (Alicia Silverstone) and her son Trooper (Matthew Knight) come back to town after having left the place and Dee Dee's husband, Sam (Eion Bailey), the local vet, several years before. Sam is now remarried so the shockwaves sent through the community are felt no less in his home than among the local gossips and do-gooders. Trooper starts to form a relationship with his father and, after some initial friction; Dee Dee begins to get close to Sam and his new wife, Lydia. She eventually reveals to them a deep secret that only they can help her with.
