By a customer from UK , 23 Jun 2008I actually watched series on television then got this, and the series was very good entertaining with good expert commontary throughout the Sky Sports team. It shows that Freddie can defend rather then just play his shots all time. But it was a shame we missed him in the ODIs, but showed to all cricket fans how much of fantastic talent that Kevin Pietersen (okay you may not like his "dead mongoose" hairdo, his swaggering self confidence which can border on the arrogance). But you have to appreciate how much of an exciting talent he is.
If you are cricket fan get it. I can highly recommend it.- Was this review helpful to you?

Complete waste of time
By a customer from London , 15 Oct 2006Absolutely no way to get an impression of the series that was so exciting when I listened on the radio because it is simply a collection of wickets with the occasional boundary thrown in. Shameless exercise in exploiting cricket fans who don't have sky! Rubbish- Was this review helpful to you?

Just what you'd expect
By Benjamin Chadwick from Derbyshire, England , 30 Aug 2006As you would guess, with 5 complete test matches to squeeze onto 1 disc, the highlights are fairly brief. Infact, on some you don't even get the replay of the fall of wickets!!...but all in all, this is a great catalogue of 'who got who' and 'who got carted all over the place'.
Very formulaic in it's set out (menu screen) but having said that, 'if it ain't broke.....'
Enjoyed it enormously....just a shame that you have to withstand Bob Willis' insipid voice, droning on (but that's Sky's fault anyway).- Was this review helpful to you?

Footage Lacking but a Great Cricket Series
By a customer from Leeds, England , 20 Feb 2006This test series in my view was better than the Ashes however due to the publishers cramming the content onto one disk, you only get very breif highlights of each game. Also in cramming all 5 tests to one disks something has had to be sacrificed and that is the quality of the footage which appears of lesser quality to the ODI disk.
Having said that if you watched the series as it was originally broadcasted you'll still get the memories right. Also the footage is the Sky Sports coverage that was broadcasted in the UK so you get the usual commentary team however the post match presentation party with Kas Naidu is missing.
It's been said that this disk doesn't rival that of the Ashes 3 disk DVD and that is likely to be true as it's only one disk and was produce pre ashes fever however as a crciket fan it is a great view. My only strife as a Yorkshireman would be that at the end of the ODI disk there is a homage to Freddie Flintoff and his wickets in the Test series (missed the ODI's through injury) however top wicket taker of the series was Matthew Hoggard!!!- Was this review helpful to you?
