US sends astronauts to Mars, Government pull the mission before take-off, don't tell anyone, hoax the mission from film studio.
Surely a dig at the moon landing in this late seventies thriller.
Does feel a bit rushed in parts & a bit silly, especially towards the end & some of the acting isn't great with the exception of James Brolin, Elliott Gould & a great cameo by Telly Savalas.
