there are plenty of reviews on the film content but not on the 3d so i thought i'd have a go. I started out with high expectations for the 3d on this film but to be honest i was let down by it. After further investigation into it i found out that the film is made in 2d the made into 3d in post production, there was very little if any outside window effect and the inside window depth effect was very shallow.
not a film to show off your 3d telly on. it seems the more cg in a movie the better the 3d effect and captain america has very little cg in it wich is no bad thing the special effects are very good, just not in a 3d sense. probably just better off sticking to the standard blu-ray version.... but hey!!! this is just my opinion.- Was this review helpful to you?

A good film version of Captain America made for a new audience but still keeping the spirit of the comics, some fans will want to complain about some aspects of it but I think the majority will be pleased. The 3D at the start had some convergence trouble ~(double image on part of the frame) but later on when the varience wasnt as extreme the 3D was good.- Was this review helpful to you?

Amazing very impressive 3d!! :-D
By mumof3lils (1 review) , 27 Feb 2013Well I have to say after seeing somewhat mixed reviews on the 3d quality of this film I sat down to watch somewhat skeptical...I personally found this to be THE best 3d I have seen so far and I have watched nearly every 3d film out!! From the start of the film to the end the whole thing immerses you, there is a fantastic balance between depth and pop with lots of things flying out of the screen not so as you can touch them but its definitely 'popping'. The film itself has a great storyline which kept me and my son hooked and on the edge of our seats for the full two hours, the time flew by and had a really happy high at the end of it as id started to be put off by the whole '3d only been about depth' with alot of films now this proves that 3d with both depth and pop can and definitely do work. Ok - just ok

HOW ABOUT "CAPTAIN UK"
