Documentary that examines the fictional careers of the Starfleet captains from the long-running TV show, Star Trek. With six different TV series and eleven movies to its name, Star Trek is arguably the most successful sci-fi franchise of all time. Many of the actors and the characters they have portrayed have become iconic through their association with the show, not least William Shatner's Captain Kirk and Patrick Stewart's Jean-Luc Picard. The documentary takes a look at the careers of the various Star Trek captains and discusses their respective merits and shortcomings.

This seems to have been confused with a similar title in which William Shatner interviews all of the ST captains - according to Amazon this dvd refers to that one but it isnt! This dvd is simply a look back at the different captains with only one being interviewed briefly (Kate Mulgrew). I wouldnt recommend this one unless youre a real trekkie.

Star Trek fans will enjoy.

This is a lighthearted and interesting documentary from the Biography Channel, but really for Star Trek fans only! A fun comparison of the 5 Captains but it isn't as in-depth as hardcore fans would want.
