Carrie's War

This is a better than average made for TV movie. It starts off as a typical ?kids go to the country during the war? and stay with dour adults film. But the girl who plays Carrie is likeable and sweet even though most of the adults around her seem like caricatures. The story moves along well and despite being predictable in places, there are a few surprises as well.
