I thought this was a very interesting, but ultimately very said film about the lives of these "Bloomsbury Set" people. Excellent portrayals by Emma Thompson & Jonathan Price. This was made even more poignant for me because Carrington's husband (Ralph) left her for a woman called Frances (who he eventually married) and Frances has recently died - aged 103! - I read her obituary in The Daily Telegraph on 7 February 2004, the day after I viewed the film! She had an amazing life.
