Carry on christmas classic
One off carry on classic not to be missed!
Scrooge, cinderella panto and frankenstein all rolled together.
Live tv with mistakes left in, and all the favourite characters playing several cameos.
Not to be missed, if you like carry on you will love this dvd, add it on your list now! -

Poor Show!
My wife and I are big fans of the carry-on films, and like all carry-on fan's we have our favorites, Carry-on Cleo !....Carry-on Screaming!. Carry-on Doctor!..They are mine!.My wife loves Carry-on Camping!..Carry-on at your convenience!.Carry-on Girls!.. but Carry-on Christmas was a total disaster for us, we actually knocked it off about 15mins into the show.we struggled to smile yet alone laugh..
Better left in the dusty old archives!..

a good collection of xmas clips

not very good
I love the carry on films so we waited for the pm and put the film on ith the kids in bed so we could enjoy the film but to our surpise it was so boaring and a very bad copy of scrooge it was boaring that i feel asleep what a let down

Carry On Tv Specials
If you love the non-pc humour that is the carry on gang you will love these 1970's TV specials. Unfortunaely, no Kenneth Williams but all the other well-know actors are there.

ohhhh you are awful - i don't like you
Great to see for the history lesson of how bad 70s TV was. Sorely missed Ken Williams, as might have rescued it for comedy value. It's so bad they should show it every christmas

Very Forgettable
I had previosly seen three of the four made for TV specials contained here so i knew what to expect. The one i hadn't seen was ' Carry On Long John ' , made in black and white for some strange reason. In all honesty, it's the worst of the bunch, totally unfunny and a waste of all the talent involved. In watching all these Christmas specials, one really does get an idea of the shoestring budget and piss poor production values. It's almost like they filmed them on the Monday and showed them on the Tuesday. The films were never renowned for being works of art but compared to these they are a masterclass in quality ! Finally, Peter Rogers gives a short interview at the start of each episode. All i can say is, ' What was he doing ! ' . They really are the most shoddy, un-rehearsed, un-funny pieces of crap i have ever seen. For a man who made his name and living from the series you would think he would be a bit more concerned about putting together a decent bit of chatter, but no, we just get the ' Gun in the back ' look each time - shocking !

Typical Carry On team innuendo's through this. Sid James playing a classic role as ever. The rest of the team put in good performace.
