LOVEFiLM Review Cars 2

It had to happen. Pixar's winning streak couldn't go on forever.

    [Highly rated reviewer]

Like Shrek and couple other CGI films, the first sequal is as good if not better than the original and Cars 2 dosen't disppoint.

When I first saw the trailer, I wasn't 100% sure about it but I was 100% after watching about oh......a minute and it was fun recognising or even trying to recognising the voices like Eddie Issard and Micheal Caine as the cars. This film will not only entain the kids but the adults and the plot almost sounds like something like a James Bond film but with a tow truck as the hero and not necessarily the saive British car.

I must admit I was slightly confused about the French Robin Reliant and how fast it could go, LOL.

  • Cars 2: They ran out of road . . .

Out of all of the Pixar titles, l am not sure WHY this one was chosen for a Sequel. The Incredibles - yes, but Cars - no.

The film plot was weak, and only a contrivance for more Lightning McQueen and Mater fun . . . . . Mater has become the Jar Jar Binks of Pixar. He really started to become annoying after the first 20 minutes or so.

Not as good as the first one but still a good movie to watch. Some parts were really funny and the animation was awesome. My favourites are Luigi and Guido :)

As usual, nowhere near as good as the first. Far too James Bond-like for me, but ok to watch, probably better a second time around if you can be bothered!

LOVE this movie! It really lives up to the first film, it has the fab characters from the first, with brilliant new ones and a completely different story/style. The spy aspect really brings something new to the whole 'Cars Racing' thing in the first!

Clearly not as good as the first one. We both fell asleep half way through, woke up whilst the credits were running... re-played the film again and funnily enough nodded off again. Storyline not engaging enough. Enjoyed Pixar's animations from the start, but this one really disappointed us. In case your wondering... no we weren't tired before playing the film, and I work in the film business so know what I'm talking about.
