Better than you would think

For an old Edgar Wallace thriller directed by George King this is alot better than you might think. No classic but it does have some good moments towards the end and a genuinely creepy gothic atmosphere. It is slightly stilted in a very 'British' way but being a short feature it never really outstays its welcome.- Was this review helpful to you?

OK for it's time
By hamrag (14 reviews) from Carnforth , 14 Jul 2008A bit stilted in parts but gets going a bit later on in the film. It's quite short - about 75 minutes - so won't take up much of your day.
