I did not expect to be so entertained by a short film. The story line, the light humor and the beautiful women has you locked in til the end.... And wanting more.

There really is something so mesmerising about this short film... A young man imagines he can freeze time to admire the female form. Nothing pervy or sinister about it.. he just admires and draws (tastfully) I thought it was fresh, interesting and gives you something to think about next time you go into your local supermarket out of hours lol x

Wistful, at times seemingly evocative of the youthful feeling of alienation, yet ultimately unnervingly juvenile. As beautiful as the nudes and semi-nudes were, there was something slightly irksome about Ben's ability to undress the women while they were suspended in time, despite his youthful pleading for art's higher ground - a justification woven in, and clearly needed, to deflect cries of voyeurism. The scene with the Swedish student was fatuous and gratuitous, despite her beauty and the rarefied, almost ethereal, use of light and motion; a more mature director would have picked up on this and left it on the cutting room floor. Not entirely sure where the story intended to go, however, I am sure everyone identifies with that curious warping of time brought on by entering a supermarket.

If this short was meant to make me want to watch the feature it completely failed. This snippet is incredibly sexist - the lecherous boss, the dick humour of the two idiot butchers, and a then a load of topless women and a bunch of pretentious drivel about the beauty of the female form that is spouted in almost every film with an artist. Is the filmmaker a 15 year old boy or something?
