  Casino Royale 'best remake ever'

  Daniel Craig's portrayal of superspy James Bond has impressed film fans - Casino Royale has been crowned the best ever movie remake in a new poll. The 2006 thriller beat Brad Pitt and George Clooney's crime caper Ocean's Eleven to the top spot in a quiz of 1,500 fans. Peter Jackson's 2005 blockbuster King Kong rounded out the top three in the survey, by movie rental website Lovefilm.com. Read more

  Cannes Film Festival bosses are to mark 50 years of the James Bond franchise by screening five classic 007 movies at the event.
