The worst BondBy Lisa from N Wales , 13 Jun 2007
[Highly rated reviewer]Not a classic Bond..in fact in my opinion its the worst one i've ever seen (and i've seen em all). A lacklustre story, no drama, no plot, bitty, no memorable bad guy, no gadgets, no memorable bond girl. The action scenes were even less believable than previous bonds. I'm afraid the Bonds have taken a step backwards for me. However, Daniel Craig was good and well suited to action but not so good as a ladies man. (Roger Moore for that)

Casino RoyaleBy Expotanne (58 reviews) from Rowley Regis , 01 Mar 2010Having listened to the hype that surrounded this film when it was first released I avoided it. However, having now sat and watched it, I can't say that I didn't enjoy it. Daniel Craig is a more 'thuggish' Bond than we're used to but having said that he is more believable. The stunts in the opening sequence during the chase are worth getting the film for alone. Daniel Craig is no Sean Connery but having said that he's growing on me.. will wait and watch Quantum of Solace and hold final opinions. Again, the highlight of the movie for me was Dame Judi Dench, who in my humble opinion steals every scene she is in!
Casino RoyaleBy darkblaze (4 reviews) from London , 01 Mar 2010Less than average film, story dragged on and in my opinion one of the worst Bond films ever. There were some good bits but not enough to rave about!
MODERN BONDBy prawnman (8 reviews) from Oban , 16 Feb 2010DEFINATELY BETTER THAN MOST BOND MOVIES, GOOD ACTION SCENES, AND ALL BELIEVABLE.
casino royaleBy martynchess (18 reviews) from TN37 6LE , 09 Feb 2010much better than the original & much darker vesper not the sexiest of bond girls but still raunchy & pleasing when she saved bonds life when he was poisoned not my favourite bond film but up in the top 3 of all time(goldfinger & man with the golden gun) being my other favourites
DANIEL CRAIG HAS KILLED BOND!By MrKush (27 reviews) from London , 07 Feb 2010This movie is the greatest of all hollywood disrespects.
The whole idea of making a Bond film that pre-dates the previous ones is just insane. For me this is just a slur on the classic titles.
There is nothing at all in this movie that gives it the authentic Bond feel. At least this was something that was present in the Pearce Brosnan movies, which leads me to my next point...Daniel Craig.
For me he's just not Bond. He doesnt have the charm, charisma and likability of the previous actors who played the spy. I appreciate that Craig wasn't helped by the poor plot but i still feel he made a complete mess of it....
RIP James Bond
