The worst BondBy Lisa from N Wales , 13 Jun 2007
[Highly rated reviewer]Not a classic Bond..in fact in my opinion its the worst one i've ever seen (and i've seen em all). A lacklustre story, no drama, no plot, bitty, no memorable bad guy, no gadgets, no memorable bond girl. The action scenes were even less believable than previous bonds. I'm afraid the Bonds have taken a step backwards for me. However, Daniel Craig was good and well suited to action but not so good as a ladies man. (Roger Moore for that)

Still undecided don't be its a no brainierBy jayjayfilm (1 review) , 21 May 2011A must watch for any true movie fan :)
Bond nut or just casual film goer Casino Royale is a piece of film making excellence. From classic opening to the cliff hanger ending this is a true film for everyone. This is not just a bond movie of old this has intelligence, real humor, and tension, not just a action film with gadgets that Bond had become this is a new type of film one that is hugely influenced by the recent bourne films. This film even manages to make a game of cards exciting and edge of your seat stuff need I give it higher prise than that.
Don't miss this gem of a film it wont disapoint

Easy WatchingBy a customer , 07 May 2011This film was ok, I'm not the biggest Bond fan but this was fairly exciting. Daniel Craig makes a good Bond. Easy watching.
Not the bestBy tominsptwo (73 reviews) from Wakefield , 07 May 2011I think this film's action is pretty good for the bond films of late. however compared to other bond stories, its poor.
I fail to see how you can centre a large story like this for so long around a poker table, the drama and suspense isn't there and it soon becomes a chore to watch. In the cinema i found myself sat clock watching, the film 2Hr 23m, is just too long. Bond fans will love it as its hard to fall out with bond films, however it will collect dust on the shelf and be avoided on TV in my opinion, Ok once anything more is just filling time.
Casino Royale ReviewBy Bond007SimonF (2 reviews) , 23 Apr 2011It makes a change for a Bond film not to be full of overwhelming unbelievable technology. Casino Royal is an easy watching film which encompasses the action scene at the same time. Would have been a little better if there were more hot women!
Bond special effectsBy a customer from Stony Stratford , 21 Mar 2011We enjoyed this Bond movie and first time of seeing Daniel Craig in the role. Special effects were up to usual standard - particularly impressive was the collapsing house in Venice. Maybe I was getting tired, but I did lose some detail of the plot at the very end, but all in all it was an entertaining watch. (Oh, and loved Dame Judi too of course!).
