Sharon Stone broke down in tears as she accepted a lifetime achievement prize from Martin Scorsese on Monday (06Feb12). The veteran star became emotional as her Casino director presented her with the trophy at the 11th Annual AARP Magazine Movies for Grownups Awards in Beverly Hills. Martin Scorsese has confirmed he is reuniting with Robert De Niro for the first time since 1995 crime classic Casino. Rumours the pair was in talks to star in their ninth collaboration surfaced earlier this year (10). Hollywood actress Sharon Stone is eyeing a career as an author after writing a collection of short stories. The Casino star is reportedly looking for a publishing deal to have her work released. Stone insists her tales are not autobiographical or about the movie industry, but are instead a set of mystery "thrillers", according to Fox News.
