Typical Bollywood Stuff, enjoyable.
By rdx05 from Bristol, UK , 02 Feb 2005[Highly rated reviewer]
It?s a nice movie, with few above average songs. Story is about two different personalities getting together and their images before and after getting into marriage. And also what happens when different issues rise and how they react to it...ofcourse, like no normal person would react. hehe. This theme has often been told in different version in Bollywood cinema, Amitab has done quite a few movies on the same theme. On the whole, bollywood revolves around one theme, Romance. So if you are bollywood fan, it wont be really boring to see Shah Rukh & Rani doing the same stuff. Enjoy watching it!- Was this review helpful to you?

(19)Enjoyable to watch
By Pritt30 (38 reviews) from Stockton on Tees , 21 May 2011Chalte Chalte is an enjoyable movie. It is a love story featuring S.Khan and Rani Mukerji. It shares happy and tragic moments of a relationship in true Bollywood style. It has the good old humour to charm viewers. It is light and a great feel good movie to enjoy.- Was this review helpful to you?

Quite enjoyable but overall disappointing
By a customer from London , 31 Oct 2009It had lots of the charms of so many Bollywood films but ultimately failed to win me over. As the film description says, it's based a lot around bickering within a marriage. Trouble for me was that I just didn't find that enjoyable to watch, and it never actually achieved any depth in terms of making me understand why that was happening. I don't believe that this type of bickering is a part of marriage, per se.
Usually in good Bollywood films there are big emotions and big issues and they make a big impression, ending happily (I'm a sucker for that). Here the ups and downs didn't really take me along, and I didn't take as much away as normal.- Was this review helpful to you?
