Good Fun, on this DVD we see who the trio gained their superhuman powers.
All that AND the delectable Alexandra Bastedo
These stories are exactly how I remembered them. Too often a superhero is given powers that rise to any occasion the plot demands: in one episode their strength is merely enough to lift a heavy boulder, in another they can catch a falling jumbo. By contrast the powers of the Champions were always understated and often almost irrelevant to the plot; they are but slightly stronger, a little more agile, can jump a fair bit higher. This restraint forces the story to play a bigger part and the episodes benefit. Well worth a watch.
