It reveals the personal tragedies that are played out under the tinsel of Bombay. Acting by Tabu, the lead actress, is understated and believable. The film's transition from presenting Tabu's work colleagues as brash, foul mouthed money grabbers to then giving glimpses into their lives moves you feeling sympathy for them too at the end.
