Sad, but true... Hollywood can be so cruel.

A man of superior imagination, superior talent, and a heart so deep... Charlie was a very introverted man who had two completely different and opposite personas... There's the joker we know from the screen, and then there's the man behind the scenes that we should all see in order to know what a sad life this man had to leed in order to fulfill all his dreams.

Some people may say he was a womaniser who preyed on young women and in his personal life didn;t deserve to be loved; some may say he was 'too big for his boots' and took too many risks with controversial themes for his, what have become classic, movies...

I can't help but feel somewhat sorry for a man who had a creative side that was bursting at the seams, well ahead of anyone elses imagination. He felt at home with a camera... Not with people.

This film is a great adaptation of his life - as scripted based on his autobiography and I can't help but watch the movie or think about his life without a lump in my throat for few men will be as talented and lonely as Charlie Chaplin...
