Awful DVD.By a customer from Bristol, England. , 09 Feb 2004
[Highly rated reviewer]Cary Grant and Audrey Hepburn are two of my favourite actors and so I relished the chance to see them together when I rented 'Charade'.
30 seconds into the movie, I switched it off and sent it back.
Why? The picture and sound quality of this DVD is awful. The sound is muddy and distorted, the picture blocky, murky and isn't even framed properly!
If you're looking to watch this movie, try a different version.

A Real ClassicBy Sukhster (11 reviews) from London , 03 Jan 2012I always thought this film was directed by Alfred Hitchcock, and after a look through IMDB the trivia is that almost everybody thinks the same.
Apparently, this film was said to be the best Alfred Hitchcock film that he NEVER directed.
The chemistry between Audrey Hepburn in this film was amazing. It is a shame that they never did another film together.
This film is worth watching.
good enough film - terrible qualityBy a customer from swindon , 22 Nov 2011The film's enjoyable with Grant on fine form, although very silly and full of plot holes. But my, I thought it was a pirate copy the quality was so bad. I hope this is improved soon.
Classic CoolBy a customer , 02 Oct 2011Classic Cary Grant and sparkling Audrey Hepburn in this comedy thriller with so many twists and turns that even when you already know the ending, you're still with it for every bit of the ride. As smooth and enjoyable as a cool white wine on a summer's evening.
Not THAT badBy Silverwood (2 reviews) from UK , 18 Sep 2011The quality of picture and sound is not THAT bad.
There have been issues with copyright on this movie so plenty of second-rate prints abound, including this one. If you want a nicer looking version I believe there is a Criterion Collection DVD/Blu-Ray available but I wouldn't go to any trouble. The film is fun but more or less fluff, not quite the Hitchcockian contender it thinks it is.
Two great stars but they have both made better.
Good movie if you've got a cold and are in bed feeling blue.
My kind of film!By chazzd91 (12 reviews) , 05 Sep 2011I loved it. I love Cary Grant and I especially love Audrey Hepburn, so was excited to watch this, and was right to, its great!
