waste of a talented castBy uknightbreed from uk , 04 Apr 2006
[Highly rated reviewer]all i will say about this dvd is that it has the worst picture and sound quality ive seen ever on any dvd.it looks like its taken straight from a poor betamax video copy.if it was digitally remastered it will be a hell of a lot more enjoyable.
THE GREATEST CHAN MYSTERY ?By a customer from Stanley , 30 Jan 2009I remember this film from my younger days and had been looking forward to seeing it.
Quality of discBy Toni from Durham, England , 10 Jun 2006I enjoyed this film when it was shown on television but am afraid my expectations were shattered due to the quality of reproduction on the disc which made the film unwatchable.
I have since noted further complaints about quality, not just on this film but others reproduced by the same distributer. I would suggest that all rental firms be aware of this poor standard of manufacture.

Not the best Charlie ChanBy sara from Derbyshire , 24 Nov 2005Charlie Chan is played by Peter Ustinov which gave the film more comedy but in the style of naked gun. This humour spoilt the film for me and I prefer the original Charlie Chan with his number one son.
Charlie Chan arrives in America out of retirement to help the police on a murder case. He visits his grandson who lives in a house surrounded by paranoid dodgy staff. The plot is very fluid as he comes into contact with an old rival - the Dragon Queen (Angie Dickinson). As ususal Charlie solves the case despite the fumbling accident prone grandson.
