Baad Movie!
By Andrew from Warwickshire UK , 15 Apr 2007[Highly rated reviewer]
Watched this with expectations of it being more superior to my VHS copy which I've owned since 1986.. Wrong! Picture quality is very poor so is the sound. My VHS tape plays better than this DVD.!
Also to top things off 28 mins 51 secs into the movie appeared a logo in the bottom right corner 'Orbit Media' a big gray box. The distributors clearly wanted their watermark to be seen on the feature...I once bought from a car boot sale a very poor pirated DVD, this has all the features of such an item...! I promptly turned the DVD off & put it back in the envelope ...Very disappointed do not rent be warned folks...!- Was this review helpful to you?

Poor, Poor, Poor
By a customer from Northern Ireland , 21 Jan 2006I like the Charlie Chan films, so was looking forward to this one. But on viewing found it to be one of the worst quality DVD's I have ever had the non pleasure to watch. The picture goes in slow motion at times for a second then catches up, the sound goes in and out of sync. Orbit media who have released this film seem to have a knack of finding the worst source material available and releasing it. It looks like an 8mm dupe. If you dont believe me check out their release of Bob Hope's The Cat and the Canary which is equally as bad. I know its supposed to be a review of the film but the picture quality was so bad it's just not worth renting.- Was this review helpful to you?
