    [Highly rated reviewer]

I really enjoyed this film-enjoyed maybe not being the correct word for the emotions this film provokes!

It is eye-opening and thought-provoking and had me gripped the whole way through.

The way the film is set out makes it easier to follow and also entertaining to watch.

The ending was unexpected but brilliant!!!

I was unsure about renting this film due to bad reviews but i would 100% recommend it! Definately a must see!

This film is a bit like the film about Anna Karenina, in that if she had got hit by a moving train at the beginning of the film, they wouldn't have bothered to make the film. Exactly the same can be said about this film, but probably with much more justification!

  • Truly Truly Painful.

Truly painful. Don't waste your time with this utter crap. It is so bad that I had to keep on watching because I couldn't believe that it would be all bad as it would have never made the market. I just had to switch off 20 mins before the end realising that ther IS such s**t on the market in movies that slip the net. The small amount of good reviews that this got is what kept me hanging on but I have to believe that it must have been the production team and the cast that wrote all the positive reviews. Truly awful but what can you expect from a British movie?

  • An average drama that could have been more refined

As a fan of Nakata Hideo, I went into this film with an open mind. I didn't really know what it was about apart from the obvious title.

Good points to the film: The film was beautifully shot and I love how they interact face-to-face within the film but in actual reality they are suppose to be behind a screen. Aaron Johnson displayed a brilliant performance as a teen who clearly has issues and I must say I found him to be incredibly creepy.

bad points: Other than the main character, William (Johnson) there wasn't much character development and thus I didn't really care about them. Hannah Murray was a bit wasted as she clearly is a talented actress and I found the interaction between Eva and William to be slightly forced. But that is my opinion.

Overall, it is a good film, but it could have been more.

Yea soem OK, not even clever points about the internet and how things can get twisted, such a socio-sexual behaviour, but this is crap from start to finish as film, badly acted, cheaply put together and smug as well and there is nothing worse than smug
