A faithful portrayal of Guevara

Part one covers Che's part in the Cuban revolution and the part is wonderfully acted by Del Toro. I enjoyed the movie and thought it was faithful to the spirit of Guevara, but I cannot say it was a great film, but worth watching, especially if you know little about the legend.

Che Part 1 & 2

I didnt know much about the history of Che Guevera until watching this movie. If you like history or war movies then i am sure this will be enjoyable. Explained to me about Che's part in the Revolution in an enjoyable performance by Benicio Del Toro. The blu ray version is excellent sound and picture quality. Some reviews complain about being too grainy at the black and white parts of the movie, but i think that is intentional and it does not look out of place when you compare to the scenes in the Jungle. After watching this i was really excited about watching part 2.

So we then received Part 2 through and watched but this didnt have the same pace as the first part. We also found that the subtitles went a lot faster and very hard to read as white writing on a very light/white background.

On a whole we were pretty disappointed with Part 2 as it did not provide the answers or history we were looking for or expected.
