I didn't know what to expect from this film, but I least expected it to be one of the best I have seen this year. The fact that it?s a true story made it particularly interesting. That story happens to be a very intriguing and thought provoking one raising a number of issues such as questioning what makes someone successful in this world. The acting was superb, from all the kids although especially Jena Malone and Jeff Daniels outstood as their teacher. An interesting fact - the real teacher this film is about appears in the cast as an unknown teacher seen in the background.
