Run by former Red Sox pitcher and ladies' man Sam Malone (Ted Danson), the establishment's ever-present characters include salty barmaid Carla LeBec (Rhea Perlman), dim-witted bartender Woody Boyd (Woody Harrelson), barflies Norm Peterson (George Wendt) and Cliff Clavin (John Ratzenberger), pompous psychiatrist Frasier Crane (Kelsey Grammer), and his frosty love interest Lilith Sternin (Bebe Neuwirth). Classic Cheers
Kirstie Alley helps to spice up season 6 of this classic American sitcom with her acerbic wit and great facial expressions. At last, it's refreshing to have a female character who plays hard to get with Sam. The series takes new direction with a number of scenes taking place outside the bar. This allows other characters to develop giving a better blend to the whole show. All in all - the best season so far.
