DVD is from vintage sources, which in this case seems to mean lifted wholesale from an incomplete VHS tape, with no attempt to restore missing sections (total running time is only 1.58hrs, which probably means ~30mins has been lost). All the cast credits apart from Raj Kapoor & Nutan are missing, and there are a LOT of obvious gaps and abrupt transitions. Raj Kapoor appears in yet another version of his tiresome, ankle-length trousered tramp character. Despite all this, the film is worth watching for (a) touching performances from Nutan and child actor Bupet (aka Moppet) Raja, and (b) some fine Kalyanji-Anandji songs. Singers are Mukesh, Lata & Rafi all the songs are there, but alas all are spoilt to some extent by missing sections (in one case an entire stanza).
