  Alexandre Aja's remake of Wes Craven's horror The Hills Have Eyes has stormed to the top of the UK box office charts. The film, starring Aaron Stanford (X-Men: The Last Stand) and Kathleen Quinlan (Event Horizon, Apollo 13), took an impressive £1.1 million during its opening weekend.   Nick Hornby's new novel, A Long Way Down, has been snapped up by Hollywood before the book has even been published in the UK. Warner Bros has bought the rights to the book, hoping it will follow on from a string of other successful adaptations of Hornby's novels.
