If you want the kids to see a funny film then there are others better than this. The animation is great, the effects are very good, there is even a story (weak as it is), but it lacks humour. It is funny in places but just not funny enough and not funny often enough. We took my 6 year old and eight year old. The six year old was so bored that my wife took him out after 30mins. I had the pleasure of sitting through the rest of the film!
We watched it at the cinema and it was sooo very quiet. The was no laughing out loud. No other company see to be able to match Dreamworks. With so much choice in this area at them moment you are better of seeing one of the others. If you really want to see this then wait until it comes out on DVD, rent it and at least you can turn it off when the kids get bored, or you can fall asleep on sofa when watching it with them.
This may seem harsh and as I say it looks great, full of colour and it sounds great. Just dont expect the adult laughs that films like Shrek have. The only bit that raised a big laugh has something to do with the big pig and bouncing down the hillside. Lets just say it make the sort of noises that kids love to hear!!
Kept my child well entertained for the full duration of the film. Never heard a peep, Excellent animation as always with Disney films, ive got to admit i enjoyed it to.
This is sure to be a massive hit on DVD!
this is a gr8 film for all the family
it really is quality!!
I got this film for my children and watched it with them. Then I watched it again. Adorable characters who can only be described as wonderfully bouncy,I loved this film and laughed out loud at the truly family orientated humour. I would happily put this film up there with SHREK and Ice age. Loved it!
not too bad..... defo was not PIXAR! but disney didnt do too much damage with this one..... den again ders nothing remarkable or memerable about the movie.... the kids loved it... dats what counts right? go for it

I took the kids to the cinema to see this, and didn't expect much but I was wrong. For adults, you'll recognise scenes taken from other movies, such as war of the worlds. The story is endearing and perhaps reminds us that we should take time out to really listen to our kids. My kids loved the movie especially fish. 10 out of 10 from the Harrison Family.
Great film, kids loved it. Great for all the family with added adult humour!
My kids (7 and 5 yrs) never got to watch this when it was first released, so were excited when we received this. They loved this throughout. Good clean fun.

We saw this film with children at the cinema (intending to see something else but thats a long story). At first I just thought oh dear this is going to be so boring but as it went on and the aliens invaded I actually started to enjoy it - though there were a few younger children who had to be escorted out of the cinema as they found it too scary and were crying - great fun! Other than that not very memororable for me or child. Liked the pig character though!
thought the trailers looked good...but really not as good as i thought it might be..a couple of funny moments but not worth seeing at the cinema glad i waited until the rental.....
