Six-year old Alex Vincent's must-have “Good Guy” doll, Chucky, is possessed by the soul of dead serial killer Brad Dourif and goes on a wisecracking murder spree to get revenge on the cop (Chris Sarandon) who put him away. A steady stream of standard scares is dragged from a thinly-stretched, formula slasher plot, thanks to panache beyond the call of duty from director Tom Holland. Novelty value and great special effects made this dummy run a big hit. Three sequels followed.

    Good Old Chucky

Having pretty much grown up with the Childs Play movies i am of course a big fan.

Child's Play is a classic 'coming to get you' movie.

A murderer manages to transfer his soul into the rather scary looking Good Guy Doll. His mission is to then find a human into which he can transfer his soul forever.

He comes into contact with a little boy who then becomes the target for his new body.

People get killed along the way in scenarios which are humorous or just plain freaky (remember....it's a doll!).

The young boy must eventually defend himself against this doll in order to protect his own life.

My favourite part of this movie & all of the Child's Play movies that followed is the sometimes hillarious & gross ways of maiming & killing Chucky.

A must for fans of a bit of gore, a bit of cheese & anyone who likes Brad Douriff!

    Good horror thriller

This is where we see the killer doll and it goes on a killing spree. Nobody believes the little boy who it belongs too until it's too late.

A good horror thriller type movie.
