Having never seen this before, only the bad sequels, I was expecting the worst but was pleasantly suprised. The concept is good and the characters are believable and the kid very cute. I found chucky himself very amusing at times (despite being a cold- blooded killer) who caused me to laugh out loud (when he's trying to watch the news on TV). If you've not seen this for a while then it is still a really good little film. It's just a shame that some of the later films got tacky!
