cant say much only that its predictable an idea for a film that has been flogged to death, I wouldnt watch again and certainly wouldnt class this as a horror flick.

Some of the things I didn't understand:

First of all, this being part 4 of Children of The Corn, why didn't anyone seem to have the slightest idea what was going on, when all the children in that town (and there seem to be a lot for such a small village,) suddenly show the same symptoms. They think it's the 'flu???? (The only one who seems to have some idea, is the one who moves a fair bit because he seems to work for the army, and would probably not have been present when other events had happened, the father of the hemophiliac.)

This one is a continuity issue, I guess: The farmer who went into the barn very early in this movie and got killed, had his head cut off, etc. - the black boy gave the Sheriff his head as well - in the end his whole corpse is 'sitting' in the barn. (It looks as if at first sight the Medical Student thinks he's alive.)

The mother: she leaves the house, passes the 'threshold', the end of the path only to drive to a deserted place, the barn. If she takes steps she hasn't dared to take for years, gets into a car, why doesn't she go to a public place, e. g. the Doctor's practice where her daughter (and as she doesn't know that he won't be there, her Dr.) and patients she's bound to know are going to be?

Ridiculous that the undead, evil ex-Preacher with all his history and background would be defeated by some water.

  • A different horror movie with a franchise name

There are a few franchises like Children Of The Corn and Halloween, which have films that take the name but yet have absoutely nothing to do with the franchise and this 3rd sequal is such. There's no connection with the first film, despite it says it's based on the Stephen King story at the beginning of the film.

At least the previous 2 sequals have more in connection with the first film than just the name. My only advice is don't watch this film if you like all or any of the previous films.

Okay, so if making it through Children of the Corn 3 wasn't bad enough this film adds a whole new genre of pathetic to the movie industry. I watch them and continue to watch them for mind numbing hilarity at how terrible the series is when the first one was so good. If you're going to watch them all then don't worry... they get much much worse
