unfufilled potential
By a customer from Stevenage , 16 Nov 2008[Highly rated reviewer]
Nice filming and direction. The film almost developed into a special martial arts movie but ultimately remained just above the ordinary for me. Some very good fight scenes but I have to say leaves me feeling a bit hollow after a few. Afraid I turned this off 10 mins before the end. Not bad not great.- Was this review helpful to you?

(87)Odd but captivating martial arts
By sarahwri (60 reviews) , 27 Sep 2012This is certainly one of the odder martial arts movies I've ever seen but the young woman star is fantastic and some of the fight choreography is amazing. There's one done on the side of a building that is just astonishing.
Something else astonishing is that they apparently don't have great health and safety in Thai film-making as the film ends with clips of some really nasty looking injuries that occurred during filming.- Was this review helpful to you?

Willy Wonka Be Afraid!
By manonfireuk (301 reviews) from Liverpool , 19 Jun 2012This initially caught my interest because it's from the makers of Ong Bak which was a superb martial arts masterpiece. However, this is more like the cheesy soft focus martial arts b movies from the 80's. The storyline is ridiculous (and not in a good way) and the fighting occasionally shows promise but is mostly on a par with karate kid. It's funny in places but mostly naff.- Was this review helpful to you?

Chocolate Delight
By a customer , 07 Jun 2012Not too bad a film. Impressed that the young lady did all her own stunts. Found it quite a sad film in a way, the jealousy of a man can do terrible things to othe people. Worth a watch.- Was this review helpful to you?

Martial arts film fan? ....you need to watch this!!!
By Wax (2 reviews) , 13 Dec 2011Remember the good old days when martial arts films didn't need anthing more than a story line that made 'adult films' seem like they were written by Oscar winners and that same AWESOME!!! Van Damme jumping split-kick repeated fourteen times!!
BAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!
(slow-mo fist pump!)
or Jackie Chan showcasing an almost infinte amount of differing styles while climbing and jumping all over everything like a Monkey that drank too much Redbull.
Well take all the best bits you ever loved add the Multi-Smith scene from Matrix Re-loaded (but without the gammy CGI) and you have Chocolate!
If you don't give it five stars ...STOP watching Martial Arts films because you are thinking way to much to appreciate them!!!!- Was this review helpful to you?
