The movie revolves around one man and two women, and the plot is the same old one. It has been made into movies so many times, but this has a contemporary touch, with good performances from all of the actors. You will be pleased to see that at last Salman Khan has matured to act in a character role - it is the first time in 13 years of his career he has performed well.
This is an entertaining adaptation of "Pretty Woman" with a healthy dose of Indian family values thrown in. There's even a model Indian wife with perfect teeth, perfect tolerance, perfect love - you get the picture. It was interesting to see how the plot was Bollywoodified - makes one think how much the original could have benefited from a croon from Richard Gere or a charming little jig by Julia.
The only disappointment was the low production value. We weren't sure whether the cheesy lead character and early '80s cinematography were meant to make us swoon or chuckle.
