The BBC Score Again
By OscarFreak (423 reviews) from London , 22 Mar 2011[Highly rated reviewer]
A fascinating insight into the Berlin years of Christopher Isherwood, and the world that was to be lost forever. Great script wonderful acting from the cast with special mention for Lindsay Duncan's portrayal as Mrs Isherwood senior. For anyone with an interest in this period of history or knows the work of Isherwood this a film that MUST NOT BE MISSED.- Was this review helpful to you?

(6)Absolutely ghastly
By papatez (298 reviews) from folkestone , 21 May 2013A lavish production with a stella cast that turned out a movie worthy of a local amateur dramatic society. Matt Smith does his best to put some life into a poorly written script that has him over-camping every line that he utters. It just lacks any kind of conviction.- Was this review helpful to you?

pleasant enough
By a customer from OXON , 26 Aug 2011To be honest, I watched this more for the historical context than the plot. It's an OK film but it doesn't really shine- Was this review helpful to you?
