LOVED this as it was so original - pretty dark in places and also funny, the director trank is someone to look out for in the future- Was this review helpful to you?

(158)great start, poor ending
By vickig0306 (429 reviews) from Halifax , 19 May 2013I quite liked this film & found parts of it funny. There are certain parts of it that we all wish deep down we could do but towards the end of the film it got a little far fetched with a poor ending- Was this review helpful to you?

Disappointing film
By Tonitimm (29 reviews) , 18 May 2013A potentially good storyline, but spoiled a little by the way it was portrayed. My husband gave up on it, but I persevered. It got a bit silly which was a shame.- Was this review helpful to you?

Excellent, in your face action
By Cls14 (6 reviews) , 13 May 2013Thought this one was an absolute belter. In a market where the super-hero theme is quickly becoming (has become?) saturated there is something quite different here. There are some fantastic visuals and the scriptwriting itself is top quality. It is a little slow to get going, so please give it time but by the end you'll feel like you've been on a rollercoaster. Yes there are some eye-rolling moments (does there have to be a romance in all films????) but there are enough moments that slam right into your guy they are that good to see it get 4. 5 stars. I now own a copy of course!- Was this review helpful to you?

Great Stuff
By Somethingsimple (11 reviews) , 11 May 2013This is terrific. Original, breathtaking and clever visual effects. A slow start but the pace picks up well with a brilliant second half.- Was this review helpful to you?

Chronicle? Chronic more like.
By chickentikka25 (8 reviews) , 08 May 2013Oh how it missed the mark. How absolutely gutted am I that a film that I've been aching to see for so long, turns out to be so badly written. The plot is so inevitable. There are no twists, no turns, nothing of interest to really keep you gripped. The character's descent is just, well, meh. There are a couple of interesting moments. Nothing to really keep you interested though. This could have been SO good. Turns out it's just SO bad.- Was this review helpful to you?
