I admit that I did not realise that this film was in French. However, I'm not adversed to watching a foreign film with subtitles. It is very helpful thoguh that you actually have the ability to read the subtitles - these were displayed as fast as the French actors were speaking, making it difficult to keep up.
I watched the first 30 minutes of this film so I feel I gave it a fair chance but for me, it just never got going. I had no empathy for the characters, the plot was weak at best and I was left wondering why I was bothering to watch the film.
There was even a police chase scene (on foot) which looked completely fake and staged - I know it was - but it should not have looked this way.
My overall recommendation would be to avoid this film...
