It's amazing what the body can do! Not mine, and probably not yours, but the performers in this upmarket circus appear almost superhuman at times.
We saw the show live, and then borrowed the DVD, and it was great to see it again. Ideal for adults and children alike.
Dralion is a fusion of show, musical and circus (but no animals). Great costumres, interesting "world" music, and the best circus artists money can buy.
In fact, every Cirque du Soleil show/DVD is the same formula, but its a winner!
This disc came by mistake as it was in the sleeve for another Cirque du Soleil disc.
Watched it anyway and it was brilliant. Lion dance and traditional Chinese hoop dances all mixed together with a juggler, acrobats, musicians and a startling singer. The extra material shows how they went to China to find the special team of acrobats and how the whole show was put together.
I would warn other people who borrow it that they should familiarise themselves with their DVD remote control handset as some of the scenes can be viewed from different angles - I didn't do this till after I'd seen the whole show as I didn't want to ruin my overall enjoyment by fiddling with an unfamiliar handset!
