Citizen Kane review

Yet more evidence against the idiotic and pretentious (yet bewilderingly commonplace) notion that classic works are somehow automatically 'the best'. Citizen Kane is the bronze spear of the movie industry - groundbreaking in its day but nothing but a dull relic by modern standards.

Seriously, people who rave about this film must desperately want to be regarded as cultured connoisseurs. It's just sad. I really don't care how revolutionary it was; not even a little bit. As a movie this is almost completely worthless. Avoid.
