An old man's regrets and his family's guilty secrets intersect in Antonio Hernández's intriguing study of loyalty, memory and the unforeseeable consequences of momentous actions. Returning to his Spanish father's bedside, Leonardo Sbaraglia avoids his romantic responsibilities towards both Argentinian girlfriend Leticia Bredice and sister-in-law Ana Fernández by embarking on a mission to lay Fernando Fernán Gómez's Civil War ghosts. Cinematographer Unax Mendía captures a little-seen side of Paris, and the ensemble cast is uniformly strong. But Sbaraglia's search for a potentially mythical comrade-in-arms runs into occasional dead-ends, but Hernández recovers the emotional momentum to deliver a potent finale.

    terrible quality

This is one movie that should be given a wide birth, it has nothing at all to recommend watching it.
