More realistic!!!
By a customer from Slough , 18 Nov 2007[Highly rated reviewer]
Normally films about women problems growing up or when they have grown up. Its about time they made a film about a man who is lost and needs to find himself again.
When other films attempt this, it involves the guy sleeping with another woman and then realise how much he loves his family and fights for them back. This is different, coz he still loves his family but just has reached a point in his life where he needs to know the meaning in his life. Men can relate to this more as its realistic and doesn't involve the man cheating.
More movies like this please and women could understand things from a male point of view as we get millions of films where we see the women point of view- Was this review helpful to you?

(13)City Snickers?
By Emjay69 (327 reviews) from Kidlington, Oxford , 02 May 2011I had a feeling that I'd seen it before. It's one of those films that you either like or don't. I quite enjoyed the comedy and the actual story line, which is as fictitious as a story can be, but still something that the average male can relate to.
The question that arises from this film is, 'Would I watch it again?'. The answer would be, 'Yes, but not for a couple of years. As much as I enjoyed it I would not recommend it as a 'must see' film.- Was this review helpful to you?

A Masterpiece
By Nardo (23 reviews) from UK , 12 Mar 2011A peerless masterpiece.
The script is witty and wise in equal measure.
Billy Crystal is charming and Jack Palance is quite extraordinary, a pure distillation of Western heroes. And look out for Jake Gyllenhaal.- Was this review helpful to you?
