Daft storyline, excepts it's based on a true story.

Nicely shot but lacks pacing and fails to engage which means you may not make it to the enivitable reunion.

Certainly not essential and below average, in my opinion, because there are many merely average 'cop/relationship' films which are more entertaining & watchable.

Really cool moving story about all the important things in life. Love (In all its myriad forms) and suffering and redemption.

Kept me on the edge of my seat, made me smile and brought tears to my eyes.

    Highly recommended. :-)

  • Excellent Human Story

This is not a pacey thrilling investigative cop & son movie. It is however a very deeply felt story of mistakes and personal suffering.

If you want cops and robbers with shoot outs and car chases go elsewhere.

If you enjoy a good drama with some heart felt human journeys and experiences then this is for you.

It turned out to be one of those films I had already seen on TV. Only an average, run-of-the-mill drama, despite the presence of De Niro and McDormund.
