This super documentary charts the development of Britain's first true fighter jet the 'Gloster Meteor'.It's always great to hear the veterans of WW2 recounting their tales and this documentary has plenty. You can imagine the thrill these 'vets' had when flying this jetplane compared to the slower 'Spitfire' and 'Hurricanes' and also the pride felt by the pilots who won the world flying speed record for Britain. This documentary has some wonderful film of the 'meteor' in action during WW2 and afterwards. It won't disapoint you.
