Cliff Richard is a British icon - its first real pop star and the only one to have a No 1 hit record in every decade!

While still carrying the nickname of 'the Peter Pan of rock 'n roll' - the close-ups show that he is now nearly 70 years old, so perhaps it is time that this nickname passed into history! However: how many people can fill Wembley Stadium with adoring fans for more than a couple of years, even at the height of their fame? Cliff has done it - and continues to do it - year after year for FIFTY years!

This dvd is testiment to his popularity, his fans ranging from today's teenagers to those in their eighties; most of whom can sing along with his music from every decade since the 1950's - and that includes me!

I have seen Cliff on stage in theatres in Africa in the late 1950's and in huge stadiums in this decade - he is an even better showman today than he was then: this dvd is proof of that.

I cannot wait for the dvd of what must be the greatest show of this year - the reunion of Cliff Richard and the Shadows. In the mean time, this 50th Anniversary dvd of THE TIME MACHINE show is not to missed!
