[Highly rated reviewer]my little girl loved this movie about Clifford. it kept her quiet and happy for over an hour.
it is a superb movie for particularly the under 5's. it holds their attention really well, and Clifford is really gentle and kind.

Cliffords big movieBy leggylouise (9 reviews) from Basingstoke , 27 Oct 2009My four year old loved this film and managed to watch it 4 times in the time it was at home. My 10 year old watched it twice too. Good film, along the same lines of the tv show.
Simple, rewarding funBy Savage (632 reviews) from London, England , 11 Sep 2008Clifford is a ginormous red dog, if you don't know. The plot has him running away to join a carnival, where he hopes to win a talented-pets competition so that he can get free dog food for the rest of life, so that his owners don't have to pay for it. He's big. He eats a lot of dog food. (Fortunately for everyone in the vicinity, Clifford never appears to go to the toilet. That would be nasty).
What I liked about this film was that it geared itself completely to little kids. There are no clever-clever gags for the parents (except maybe the reference to 'Benji'), there's no flashy animation stuff, there's no complicated plot. It's aimed squarely at the four year old in you. Watch it on a double bill with 'The SpongeBob SquarePants movie', and you'll gurgle away happily all afternoon.
Obviously, it's rubbish if you like Tarkovsky films.
Big Fun for Wee OnesBy tomba (7 reviews) from Edinburgh , 15 Feb 2008Great honest-to-goodness fun for the little ones!
CLIFFORD.By a customer from Lancashire, England , 23 Apr 2007Cliffords Really Big Movie, really didnt get the attention of my children, however I think it would be really good for nursery-age tots. Bright and colourful, waste of a rental for me, but as far as these animated films go, it could be really good for someone with a three year old.
Beware!By a customer from C Cuckoo Land, England , 17 Aug 2006I was expecting a really big movie but it was only the size of my TV, I was gutted.
