Roll out the barrel. Over a Zombie........By a customer , 25 Oct 2012
[Highly rated reviewer]This would make a superb finale to Eastenders.
Hilarious but gory.
Shame about the title
Nice to see Richard Bryers !

Recommended for good laughing!By SimoJen (1 review) , 01 Nov 2013Brilliant movie, thrilling in the chasing scenes, with a bit of romance at the end and quite a lot of fun! Not excessively gross (apart from the first scene) and good soundtrack! Just a step below 'Shaun of the dead' but with more action and hilariously pointless shooting!
East London Shaun Of The Dead :DBy Acesneights (3 reviews) , 31 Oct 2013
[Highly rated reviewer]Great fun! Well worth a watch and some cracking visual laughs as well as a few one-line gems. If you're looking for meaningful, deep social commentary or a director's avant-guarde idealistic viewpoint then you're in the wrong place! Go watch The Notebook or something because this is a Shaun Of The Dead style movie. It's comical, gory and really good fun so just enjoy it for what it is

Average zombie movie with a pinch of rubbish gangster movieBy a customer , 26 Oct 2013OK, I was looking forward to watching this film - I thought the idea was cool and the synopsis was intriguing. I was disappointed. It starts off well enough - developers accidentally unleash a zombie plague while Alan Ford's grandchildren, with the help of a couple of their friends, go off to rob a bank. Trouble is, it just isn't very good. None of the characters are memorable, with the possible exception of Mental Mickey, the fifth member of the unlikely bank robbers. I can't even remember anyone else's name and I only just watched the film. The OAPs fighting zombies should have been hilarious, but their ho-hum attitude seems more like they're playing a tough game of bridge than facing down a horde of the undead. And then there's the ending. Without giving too much away, Alan Ford's final speech made me want to stick two fingers halfway down my throat, it was so embarrassing. What's good? It's a zombie movie, so there are some opportunities for a good bit of action. There's a moment at the old folks' home that's hilarious. Also, Mental Mickey's character is interesting (he's a former soldier with issues and a metal plate in his head). Definitely could have done better.

Nice Zombie film with a help the OAP slant :)By CarnageAce (94 reviews) , 21 Oct 2013fairly Standard for the zombie genre but they come up with a fun slant setting it to happen when some near do wells try to help there Granddads OAP home when its going to get demolished by builders. The humor is simple but the film is played straight if it catches you in the right mood you could love it if not it's still a watchable film.
