This is an absolute gem of a movie. It's basically a series of short scenarios involving famous faces, all revolving around drinking coffee and smoking cigarettes. There is no plot or story line, it is as if the viewer has stumbled upon these delightful vignettes and is merely an amused observer. It is beautifully filmed in black and white and some of the scenarios are just wonderful: Tom Waits and Iggy Pop, Alfred Molina and Steve Coogan and Kate Blanchet is incredible as she plays two cousins in the same scene. Marvellous stuff.
