British thriller with romantic undertones in which a working class London bellboy finds himself thrown into a hostage situation with the girl of his dreams. Though Sam Smith (Craig Roberts) has a fairly menial job in a hotel, he is convinced that he will make something of his life and plans to open his own restaurant one day. He hopes to get a glimpse of the good life while running an errand to one of London's most exclusive jewellers and gets a lot more than he bargained for when he finds himself caught up in an armed robbery orchestrated by the psychopathic Cameron (Kevin McKidd). The heist quickly turns into a hostage situation, with Sam, the shop's owner, Charlie (Timothy Spall), and the beautiful shop assistant, Mary (Imogen Poots), at the mercy of Cameron and his cohorts. Will love blossom amidst the danger?

Really brill feelgood film. Great script, fantastic cast plus some interesting locations. Includes several really lush and sexy pieces of artwork. Glad I watched this film.

Slow, slow, slow

OH MY GOODNESS....REALLY? This film was s l o w but I held on in there, hoping that it would get better. The main character Sam, couldn't act, his facial expression only changed about once during the entire film! The girl was very good, however, but not good enough to carry the film through to more than half a star for me I'm afraid. BORING! With a very predictable ending. Don't waste your time, you won't get your time back, save yourselves!

Only worth watching the soon to be global Amanda Poot but drama is wafer thin.. Still their is always the Poot

More like a play but give it a go!

Don't watch this if you want to see a thriller or a Jason Statham/Guy Ritchie style action movie. This really does have more of a feel of a play. It has depth and sentiment in places and as long as you watch it expecting that rather than a Hollywood Blockbuster then you will get 90 or so minutes of pleasant entertainment with some nice touches and acting.
