Ray is one of the great directors and his Apu trilogy remains a cinematic milestone and holds up still as a great film.
Company Limited is alas terrible dated. The film's trajectory, the corruption of a good man, is deeply relevant to modern India but the style is old fashioned and in spite of the good qualities it is not, in my opinion, a film twenty first audiences would enjoy.- Was this review helpful to you?
