Grrr
By a customer from London , 11 Oct 2007[Highly rated reviewer]
This was so incredibly dire that it actually made me angry. Everything about it was poorly conceived and badly executed. What annoys me most is that, at some stage during the making of this film, the producer would undoubtely have realised that he was cobbling together one of the biggest stains ever to have been wiped on Hollywood's already dubious history, yet made the ill-advised decision to finish and release it anyway.
I can only imagine that the people who gave this tosh a positive review were paid to do so.- Was this review helpful to you?

(551)Constant - pain
By Tank-n-Eve (1 review) , 19 Jun 2011Terrible movie, could have been good if it wasn't taken so seriously, long and sentimental scenes, l could not wait for it to finish, the best part was played by the devil, l wish he would have taken them all a little sooner.- Was this review helpful to you?

Enjoyable Anti-Hero Film
By anh (2 reviews) , 13 Jun 2011This is an enjoyable movie with a respectable anti-hero main character. Constantine is a no-nonsense character that gets on with business giving both the good and bad sides the proverbial finger if they happen to get in his way. He is a little arrogant, but at the same time a realist and not altogether unjustified in his views and motivations. A interesting character to follow along with.
The movie itself moves along as a brisk pace and although the plot is nothing impressive, the way the story plays out is quite engrossing. The various sequences also do well to draw on its religious source material in entertaining ways. Obviously, do not read too deeply into how everything fits together as I am sure cracks to exist, just take it for what it is: A typical good vs evil film with lots of supernatural religious elements.
This is likely my 4th viewing of this film and unlike some repeat viewings, it's still relatively entertaining.- Was this review helpful to you?

Hot Reeves
By Julsxx (1 review) , 18 Apr 2011Really entertaining, something you could watch a few times. Didn't take it self serious, witty, excellent special effects, decent storyline, Reeves cool, maybe few too many one fingers, but love the one liners. Worth a look! Watch till end of credits.- Was this review helpful to you?
